Public And Private Secondary Schools; What To Know And What To Take Note.

Image
It is said that to everything in life, there are advantages and disadvantages.  This statement cannot be overemphasized. In fact let me say this statement is underrated.  Back then, attending a private secondary  school was one of the major determinant of your parent's social status. Until you graduate and find a public school lever, who speaks better and fluent English compared to you or you write the joint  admission and  matriculation board exam(JAMB)  twice or three times and find out that most of your friends who attended public school got admission before you. You won't be amazed until you even get the admission  and notice that a larger percentage of your course mate graduated from government secondary school.   In our present era, religion and politics are two major drive to our affairs both in the community level and country level at large. Vast majority  of our political leaders both present and past were schooled by the govern...

It's Your Responsibility To Take Charge.

Image
One of the things an individual could do and be happy with him or herself later in life is taking charge.  The mind is wired to run from difficulties and challenges but it is one's responsibility to train it to stay and fight back.  Responsibility is the state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone. So running from responsibilities ain't a way to solve problems. Though it could look like a solution but trust me it's going to be temporary.  See men who drink just to forget about their problems usually end up in bigger problems. Ranging from becoming an addict, living an irresponsible life down to committing crimes they could avoid if they were to be sane.  Taking up responsibilities doesn't mean you have to do beyond your capabilities or subduing yourself to unnecessary pressures. It only means you have to use the little ability to control any given circumstances be it good or bad.  Men who takes the responsibilities of...

" To report the case. She resolved. "Madam let me go and report the case in the police station while she take her bath"...

Seven types of family and their influence on children. Which category is yours??

Image
In Nigeria, there are lots of families and each differs in terms of background and identity. Which one is your family and how good or bad is your family contributing to society? The daily activities in families account for the kind of behaviour being exhibited by children in the society which in turn becomes the pedal at which we ride the wheels of each community.  The seven types of the family include: 1. Formal and strict families: This kind of families are always time conscious, they train their child to be mean and in their thinking, they are better than every other family in the neighbourhood. They barely accept gifts and when they do they instruct their children not to make use of such gifts. They are well educated and less socialized. If they have tap water, they hardly leave a tap outside the building for public use and despite that, they have the time they open and lock it. And if you are in need of water you need to ask for keys on several occasions and if car...
