It's Your Responsibility To Take Charge.

One of the things an individual could do and be happy with him or herself later in life is taking charge. 
The mind is wired to run from difficulties and challenges
but it is one's responsibility to train it to stay and fight back. 

Responsibility is the state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone. So running from responsibilities ain't a way to solve problems. Though it could look like a solution but trust me it's going to be temporary. 

See men who drink just to forget about their problems usually end up in bigger problems. Ranging from becoming an addict, living an irresponsible life down to committing crimes they could avoid if they were to be sane. 

Taking up responsibilities doesn't mean you have to do beyond your capabilities or subduing yourself to unnecessary pressures. It only means you have to use the little ability to control any given circumstances be it good or bad. 

Men who takes the responsibilities of their family ain't just husbands but fathers. Just like women who take the responsibilities of their homes ain't just wives but mothers. 
Societies that take the responsibilities of their affairs produce not just elders but leaders. 

Take for instance, a community that neglects the male child and allow them to wallow on the street like a scavenger is directly or indirectly putting the female child's life at risk. They have forgotten that a society that fails to raise a male child properly is definitely putting the girl child's life in danger. Because larger percentage of the girls will end up with the male child later in life. 

 Parents  who take responsibility and find time to care for their children won't grow old and wallow in bitterness compared to parents who prefers a luxury life over their  children's education and general well-being. 

When the government fails to take responsibility of its citizen,  fraud, corruption, terrorism and genocides ensues. 

Thinking that life will take care of itself whether we act or not is like building a castle and forgetting to make a drainage. Of course erosion will take care of such castle. 

For you to proceed you must be conscious and grab the bull by its horn. 
No one will be responsible  for your mistakes so take charge and prevent such mistakes.
