5 things to consider before pursuing your masters degree.

Most undergraduate students graduated from the university without having a plan on how to successfully adapt to life after school.
Most of the time, once they find the system unbearable, they tend to seek asylum back into the University system. They return to school for a masters degree and continue with the struggle. However, there are things to consider before returning to university for a masters degree.
Below are the lists of things to consider before returning for a masters degree.

1. The university you want to attend: It's advisable to gather more information about the school you want to attend before applying. Many institutions nowadays spend more than the stipulated time allotted to a program and before you could graduate, there must be a lot of wasted time, resources and energy.

2. A constant stream of income: It's of no doubt that undergraduate life can be a little bit rough and harsh due to the fact that most undergraduate students depend on their parents or relatives to survive the economic intolerance of the system. If you are willing or planning to return for your master's degree, you would as well consider getting yourself a job which could allow you to study and at the same time make some earnings.

3. Age:  Age is another good factor to consider when dashing back into school for your master's degree.
Many individuals finish their undergraduate degree at an average age of 26 and decide to op-in for their master's degree. What they fail to put in position is their relationship life. Many then, finish this masters degree before they try finding themselves a partner. In the long run, they grow old before having a family, depriving them the number of children they had wished and also the chance to raise these kids in the best possible way.

4. Your course of study and the available job: Many students in the bid to get admitted into the university, settle for any given course by the university. At the end of their study if they couldn't get a job they return to school thinking their master's certificate could get them a job.
Well, it could, but the truth is that most employee will rather employ an HND holder who will deliver just like you and at the same time accept lesser wages or salary.
So before considering a master degree, it's best to secure yourself a job with the undergraduate certificate then continue your pursuit with the master's degree when you have spread your tentacles and at your leisure time.

5. Physical and psychological strength:  Moving from places to places could be a bit overwhelming and could also be unbearable at the same time. Also, it's hard to maintain the pressure from family,  and study. So you need to be sure you are of sound health both physically and psychologically. Many individuals react to stress and if not properly taken care of, it could affect their daily activities.
