5 types of students who should consider graduating with a second class honour.

Many students aspire to own a degree, but the zeal to finish with a first-class honour is usually maintained from the beginning but in the middle of the whole process they got stuck and could not continue with the aspiration.
A first-class honour is absolutely good but the truth is that this honour ain't just for anyone.
As a student, it's good to take time to understand yourself and try to determine what kind of student you are, and what are your abilities and capabilities.
If you are among the few students I'll be talking about, you might as well consider going for a second class honour.

1. Students who are slow learners: They say slow and steady wins the race. But have you ever asked yourself what type of race has even been won with that phenomenon? If I may answer for you, it's just the marathon race. Which simply means you can win in the long run. Winners win because they go in their own pace.
If you are a student who finds it hard to grab ideas in the classroom, or you find it hard to grab what you read until a third party is involved, then you shouldn't consider the first-class honour.

2. Students who are the social type: No doubt many students love to explore the campus and at the same time pass excellently in their academics, but the truth is that you can't eat your cake and have it.
If you are going to combine partying with academics on campus, just consider getting yourself an honour rather than the first-class honour.

3. Sick students: Health Is wealth they say. It is only when you are sound that you have time to focus on many other things. Sometimes your health could make you miss some impromptu continuous assessment. But it is better for you to stay alive and miss the test than to take the test and have deteriorated health.

4. Students with a side hustling: Hustling is a common thing among students in Nigeria.
Many hustles with a kind of work after school jobs, many make a stipend working online, many make a living organizing tutorial for their friends or students from a lower class and so on and so forth.
If you are in this category, you should consider a second class honour because it gives you the time you need to focus on your income and at the same time giving you the opportunity to blend schooling with working.
You should know that for every profit you make in your business there is a reduction in your ability to make a first-class honour

5. Students from a very poor background:  Over the years, there hasn't been any substitute for money and till eternity I don't think there would be.
A student who cannot afford to eat a balanced diet,  a student who cannot afford to buy relevant textbooks, a student who cannot afford to purchase data for relevant information, a student who doesn't even have a room of his own but rather squat all of the time, a student who doesn't have enough to travel on vacations, a student who is always the last to submit his assignment should definitely consider a second class honour in the university.
According to the third law of motion, it says; to every action, there is always an equal but opposite reaction.

Thank you for reading. Come tomorrow for a better piece. Have a lovely day ahead. 👍

Yea Joseph, you are right but the truth is that it's very rare.
It's 1 in every 100 students from a poor background who made it to the first-class honour.
